Perched on a hill overlooking the island of Krk, Dobrinj is a beautifully preserved medieval village that offers a glimpse into Croatia's rural past. Its labyrinth of narrow cobblestone streets winds past stone houses, tiny squares, and several historic churches, including the 12th-century Church of St. Stephen with its Gothic frescoes. The village is also known for its ethnographic collection and the nearby Soline Bay, famous for therapeutic mud. Visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the Kvarnerska Bay and the mainland from the village's elevated vantage points.
