Muri Lagoon is a stunning turquoise expanse on the southeastern coast of Rarotonga, renowned for its calm, clear waters and four small islets (motu) that fringe the reef. Visitors can swim, kayak, stand-up paddleboard, or snorkel among colorful fish and coral gardens. The lagoon's gentle conditions make it ideal for families and beginners. Many visitors take a glass-bottom boat tour or kayak out to the motu for a picnic on pristine beaches. The surrounding area also offers cafes, restaurants, and water sports rentals.

Don't miss
