Chironkamba is a coastal village on Anjouan, prized for its serene black-sand beach framed by volcanic rocks and coconut palms. The beach is less frequented than others, offering a peaceful spot for swimming or simply watching the waves. Behind the shore, the village itself is a cluster of colorful houses where fishermen mend their boats. The headland at one end provides a short hike with rewarding vistas of the coastline and the open ocean. It's an ideal place to unwind and soak in the island's raw beauty.
