✨ HighlightThere is no better way to experience a country than through its food. La Puerta Falsa delivers that experience through every bite! Come hungry as the dishes are so filling and delicious with a large portion sizes. We tried all different types of their local cuisine, but it was the tamale that stood out from the crowd. The first reaction is that it was a huge tamale wrapped in plant leaves compared to a traditional corn husk tamale. This created a beautiful aroma on the nose while allowing the chicken to remain decently moist, falling off the bone with every bite. The restaurant is small and charming. If you have trouble with stairs, try to get a seat on the first level as the stairs can feel a bit steep. We did not experience the shoulder to shoulder eating as we came near closing, but with no doubt when the restaurant is rocking, serving out tasty meals, expect to be shoulder to shoulder eating history. Come through and be the judge for yourself, and look forward to trying one of the oldest restaurants in Bogota. I would recommend to any visiting Bogota.→

✨ HighlightAn outstanding experience end to end. I tried the 12-course menu and the non-alcoholic pairing, and except for two of the uncountably many drinks, everything was simply perfect. In most of these experiences there is something that doesn't work, or that doesn't impress; at Leo everything kept me interested, engaged, and pleased. The food was delicious, the non-alcoholic drinks were complex and varied, the ingredients were very interesting. I would hand down be happy to get any of the courses again, or as a main meal. What they've done is amazing.→

✨ HighlightThe atmosphere is cozy and intimate. The light is a bit too low, making it somewhat hard to appreciate the presentation of the dishes. The service was cordial, but it took a while for us to get noticed, either when ordering or when trying to pay. The food was tasty, and quantious. The cocktails were a bit too pricy for their quality. We ordered: - Ceviche de Chicharrón: the chicharrón was still crispy, despite being submerged in the reduction of the ceviche. The reduction flavor was too strong, and overwhelmed the flavor of the pork. - Encocada de frutos de mar: the squid was delicious. Flavorful, and cooked to a very pleasant texture. The shrimps were crispy and had their own distinctive flavor, which complemented well with the rice, creamy and with coconut hints. - Merengue: hints of mint harmonized beautifully with the sourness of the soursop and the sweetness of the merengue.→

✨ HighlightThis restaurant serves excellent food—creative, made with local produce, and original without feeling pretentious. The dishes are simple, but not so simple that you could easily pull them off at home. The meat and fish dishes were the least exciting, lacking the spark of the other plates. As for the cheese with figs, that was just a silly choice on my part. The rest of the small dishes, though, were interesting and enjoyable. Overall, it was a good experience, though a bit pricey for the context. That said, I’ll be back. The place itself is stunning—absolutely gorgeous and beautifully decorated. The music was fantastic, too: Colombian tracks from a mix of styles that really added to the vibe. The only problem? It was way too loud for a restaurant, and when I asked if they could turn it down, they simply said, this is the volume we want.→

✨ HighlightThe best restaurant in Bogotá! This is the authenticity at its best. Outstanding combination of techniques and flavors. The dishes are truly original, with an exquisite combination of textures and techniques, without leaving aside their roots. There’s a lot of intensity in flavors, and a fantastic balance in your palate. Their strength is not in desserts. We ordered only one, and its design ruined the texture it was supposed to have. They use an excess of words to explain everything. Would be nice if they are more concise about the information they are sharing.→
