Shimao Cross-Strait Plaza is a skyscraper complex in Xiamen's Siming District, completed in 2015. It consists of two 300-meter towers nicknamed the 'Twin Towers of Xiamen,' designed to resemble giant sails. The complex includes office space, a hotel, SOHO units, a shopping center called Emall, and an observation deck with views of Kinmen island.

A bit of history
Construction began in May 2010 and was funded by Shimao Property with an investment of about RMB 5 billion. When it topped out in 2015, it was the tallest building in Xiamen. During construction, it was described as 'China's first twin towers.'
