Guia Fortress, built in the 1620s, is a well-preserved military fortification that includes the Guia Lighthouse and a small chapel. The lighthouse, dating from 1865, is the oldest on the Chinese coast and still operational. Visitors can explore the ramparts, tunnels, and the chapel adorned with frescoes. The site offers sweeping views of Macau's skyline and the Pearl River Delta, making it a peaceful retreat from the city below.

Don't miss

  • Climb to the top of Guia Lighthouse for 360-degree views of Macau.
  • Explore the underground tunnels and military barracks within the fort.
  • Admire the restored 17th-century chapel with its original frescoes.
