One of the Black Pearl rating restaurants in XiAn. Minimum charge around RMB 400 per head. It is located in Cinema City and decorated with many film related art pieces. However food is disappointing due to heavy MSG make you feel headache and thirsty. I assume it should be better with such price range. Other restaurants can service less MSG with half of the price.
Amazing. Perfect service, you no longer have tea they reserve you, your plate is dirty they give you another ... Excellent dishes (turtle advice, salamander and xi’an chicken. We are very satisfied with this meal
Yes we had the duck and it was good. Had several other dishes ( eggplant, spare ribs, dumpling, etc ) all were ok. $23.75 for green tea seems to be a little bit too much, really, it is green tea…. View was good. For this price point, listening to the bar make drinks with a blender is NOT appropriate. Service was good.
I get Hot&Sour soup whenever I go for Chinese cuisine. It's almost always on the menu and it gives me something in common to compare them. How did Chang'an do? It's the best Hot&Sour soup I have ever had! A perfect balance of flavors, spiciness, umami. Wonderful stuff in the soup (not just blobs of tofu as I see commonly). Perfect. That sets the tone. Everything we had there was great. Spare ribs done so nicely, and without the died red sticky sickly sauce lesser restaurants use. Prawns with lychees - melt in your mouth! Oh - and a fantastic view too. RECOMMENDED
