The location is fantastic & it has been changed from Kempinski to Swissotel ShenYang. Gym & swimming pool is simple, but the rooms are huge, comfortable and it is amazing. The location is very convenient & its less than 5 minutes walk away from a bustling night market. Will consider staying here again when I’m back in town.
The food is honestly not very good but the atmosphere and the overall customer experience is phenomenal and extraordinary.
In China every Kempinski Hotel does host a paulaner restaurant. Still, a lot of differences from the quality point. Paulaner Shenyang is on the lower end, in Shanghai and Beijing much better quality. High prices, average band quality, food quality so so. First time no starter offered as normal everywhere at Paulaner in China. All in all, do not waste your money.
The restaurant offers a wide range of German traditional dishes and accommodate special wishes. And the food is lovely! The staff are a little timid and it took a while for some of the orders to arrive, but most importantly, the food never arrived at the same time! So generally, some (adults normally) would be fed and finish eating, before the kids food and some other adults food arrived, which is very inconvenient. One time we waited over 1 hour for the last of the food, before which the first two batches of food delivered was consumed and some of us had to leave. Not the best experience.
