Taco Bell in Pudong, China, offers a unique twist on the beloved American fast-food chain. Located among the stunning skyscrapers of Shanghai, this location stands out with its vibrant atmosphere that some have likened to a nightclub. It's conveniently situated near the metro, making it an ideal stop for tourists exploring the area. Diners can enjoy a menu that closely resembles what they might find in the U.S., albeit with some local adaptations, such as a creamy sriracha sauce replacing the traditional hot sauce. With a Google rating of 4 and a TripAdvisor rating of 4.5, this Taco Bell is a welcomed addition to the local dining scene, especially for those craving a guilty taco fix while enjoying views of the city skyline.

Live Más. You'll be glad you stopped by Taco Bell near the skyscrapers of Shanghai. The restaurant is conveniently located near the metro, and the food tastes very similar to what you'd expect - except for the creamy sriracha sauce in place of hot sauce. Prices are high compared with US Taco Bell, but you weren't expecting cheap prices in Shanghai were you? Also, note that they do not serve beans in their food here - which is very unfortunate for the vegetarians among us. But at least they can keep the meat out and we get our tasty cheese quesadillas.
Lose to the metro, this Taco Bell feels more like a nightclub than a gut wrenching taco chain. With that said, it’s a welcomed addition to the neighborhood and a great place to get your guilty taco fix.
We frequent Taco Bell in the U.S., and we were excited to try it in Shanghai. It was disappointing. We tried a variety meal so we could sample different things. The regular taco was excellent. Unfortunately, both the cubed beef and the chicken tacos were so spicy that they were almost inedible. The chicken wings were too spicy also. Unlike in the U.S., there were no sauce packets available allowing you to season the taco the way you like. Instead, they were pre seasoned to a super spicy level that will leave you begging for a bigger drink.
Food was really good! I was surprised. The Tequila Sunrise was meh but it was definitely a cool visit! The food was good for Taco Bell—-if you know you know :). Stop by!
