Nanjing Fuzimiao, or the Confucius Temple, is a vibrant historic district centered around a temple dedicated to Confucius, rebuilt after the original was destroyed. The area is famous for its lively market streets, where vendors sell snacks, souvenirs, and crafts alongside restaurants serving local specialties like Nanjing salted duck. The Qinhuai River flows through the district, and visitors can take lantern-lit boat cruises past ancient buildings and bridges. By night, the area comes alive with neon lights and street performances, offering a blend of history and modern entertainment.
