LuoYang ZhenBuTong Restaurant - Located on ZhongZhou East Road, small but good for a real quick bite.
This restaurant has many location. We visited the oldest location in Laocheng. Food quality is extremely mediocre. Their Peony Flower dish is supposed to be their rise to fame. It’s basically sour and peppery soup poured on finely cut pork, synthetic ham, egg, carrots and daikon radish. We ordered two other dishes from their “Shui Xi “ water banquet menu. It all taste the same. Our one bowl of noodles didn’t make an appearance until we refunded it 53 minutes after placing the order. We had to ask the wait staff 3 times before threatening to refund the dish. We finally refunded the dish. The wait staff didn’t seem to care at all. The street food around the corner on South street was more exciting.
