Love this place! Every dishes were so delicious, the service is superb, the decor is classic traditional SiChuan style, very charming. We ordered the roast duck, squirrel fish, sausage(spicy and none spicy), spicy chicken, DanDan noodles, and eggplant. Every dish was classic. We went on Saturday night, very busy time. The waitress was very efficient and helpful, she explained the spicy level and being very helpful. Food came out quick and tasty. Highly recommended!
Meizhou Dongpo hails from Beijing and it’s a high end Chinese restaurant. All the dishes here are pretty fancy and refined and prepared and plated with lots of attention to details. Definitely order the Meizhou Roast Duck which is their version of the Beijing duck but let your waiter know right away as it takes about 20 min to 30 mins to prepare. The crispy skin of the Meizhou Roast Duck is unparalleled. Unfortunately the crepe/wrap that comes with the duck was a bit doughy but I am nit picking here. They are also known for their Dongpo Pork Belly with Preserved Vegetables but they sold out when we were there so we ordered the Classic Dongpo Pork instead which was melt in your mouth delicious. Since this is a high end restaurant, the prices are also higher than most other Chinese restaurants.
