We were celebrating our wedding anniversary at Caprice and the service staff were amongst the best in the fine dining industry - super friendly and very attentive. The food is also amazing, although if I have to nitpick, the desserts are ordinary in their own right. Amazing food amazing people, and amazing view
I had a lovely experience overall. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, with a luxurious ambiance that made the afternoon feel special. The service was attentive, and the presentation of the dishes was stunning. However, while the food was good, it didn’t quite meet the high expectations I had, especially considering its reputation. Some dishes were more impressive than others, but nothing particularly stood out as extraordinary. It’s definitely worth visiting for the ambiance and the overall experience, but I was hoping for a bit more in terms of culinary wow factor.
Truly a marvelous restaurant. Celebrated my 50th birthday. The food was magnificent. Incomparable. Most of all, I was impressed by the service. Outstanding efficient and friendly. I must congratulate everyone especialy Fanny and Eric who treated us royally and made my bday a most enjoyable one.
I’d lunch at Caprice and took Menu Carte Blanche. While all the dishes were very good, the lamb main course was by far the best dish of the meal. I usually don’t eat lamb. However, on the recommendation of a very friendly and knowledgeable female staff (Cherry), I tried the lamb dish. The lamb was from Maison Greffeuille which for connoisseurs is the best supplier of lamb in Paris. Many Michelin starred restaurants order from this upscale épicerie. The meat was of exceptional quality and cooked to perfection. The sauce which went with the meat was very good too. The dessert was almond soufflé with vanilla ice cream. It’s very delicious and even better than the hazelnut soufflé which I’d had in this 3-star restaurant previously. The lunch was so good and relaxing. Even though I was on my own, I didn’t realise 2.5 hours had passed until I asked for the bill.
