Leifeng Pagoda is a five-story octagonal pagoda perched on Sunset Hill, offering some of the best panoramic views of West Lake and Hangzhou. Originally built in 975 AD during the Five Dynasties period, the pagoda collapsed in 1924 and was rebuilt in 2002, now featuring a modern elevator and glass floors that reveal the original ruins below. Visitors can climb to the top for sweeping vistas, explore the museum inside, and learn the legendary tale of the White Snake, which is associated with this iconic landmark.
