The Museum of the Mausoleum of the Nanyue King is built directly over the tomb of Zhao Mo, the second king of the Nanyue Kingdom (2nd century BC). Visitors descend into the actual burial chamber to see the layout and then explore exhibits showcasing over 1,000 artifacts, including bronze vessels, musical instruments, and the centerpiece: a complete jade burial suit sewn with silk threads. The museum offers a fascinating glimpse into early Chinese imperial culture and the unique Nanyue civilization.
