The Temple of Heaven is a masterpiece of Chinese architecture and landscape design, where emperors once prayed for bountiful harvests. The centerpiece is the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, a stunning triple-eaved circular building with a deep blue roof symbolizing heaven. Visitors can walk along the raised Danbi Bridge, which connects the main structures, and see the Echo Wall, where sound carries remarkably. The surrounding park is filled with locals practicing tai chi and flying kites, adding a lively contrast to the serene temples.
