Hands down the best meal we had in Santiago. The restaurant is a hidden gem nestled in a residential area. The gardens and decor were beautiful and the service was some of the best. Our waitress had great recommendations and spoke great English. We had the locos and taquitos to start then each got the homemade pasta dishes (truffle and crab). The truffle was my favorite. We ended the meal with the lemon tart which was served in an original way and was absolutely delicious. This is a nicer restaurant definitely worthy of a visit for a special occasion.
A great experience at Ambrosia! We stayed inside though the restaurant also offers a beautiful outdoor area. The service has been fantastic and our waiter was very nice and skilled. From starter to dessert, the food was amazing! Very creative, well prepared and reasonably priced for the quality we experience. We would highly recommend.
Jorge was an incredible waiter. Well versed on the menu, willing to suggest delicious pairings and very patient with our limited Spanish. Food and atmosphere were incredible. Highly recommend!
I had picked this restaurant to celebrate my birthday while in Chile. I had originally seen this restaurant on the show called “Somebody Feed Phil. It is one of the top 50 restaurants in South America. We went to the original restaurant and not the less expensive offshoot. This restaurant is really beautiful when you get there. You walk in, it is outdoorsy and filled with plants. We walked in and were greeted warmly. We were seated outside on the back patio, which was very beautiful. My husband and I normally share meals and tonight was no exception. We started out with drinks and then ordered food. We ordered an appetizer. I think it was scallops. I do not remember. We then we ordered pasta. I cannot remember the first dish, but the second dish was a mushroom dish with orzo I think. All the food was excellent. The waiter was excellent and gave us information on each dish we ordered. I highly recommend this place. For us it was a bit out-of-the-way, but taking an Uber got us there and back quickly and pretty inexpensively. A great night out for a special occasion.
