The Alexandra Bridge is a steel arch bridge spanning the Ottawa River, connecting Ottawa, Ontario, to Gatineau, Quebec. Completed in 1900, it is one of the oldest bridges in the region and is exclusively used for pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicular traffic. Visitors can walk or bike across the bridge to enjoy sweeping views of the Ottawa River, the Parliament Buildings, and the Canadian Museum of History. Its distinctive truss design and vantage points make it a popular spot for photography and sightseeing, especially at sunset.
