Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel, often called the Sailors' Church, is a historic place of worship in Old Montreal. Built in the 18th century, its interior features model ships hanging from the ceiling, left as ex-votos by sailors. Visitors can explore the adjacent Marguerite Bourgeoys Museum, which tells the story of Montreal's first teacher. The chapel's crypt contains an archaeological site revealing earlier church foundations. From the bell tower, you get panoramic views of the Old Port and St. Lawrence River.
