Dettah is a small First Nations community of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation, located about 10 kilometers from Yellowknife across Yellowknife Bay. In winter, it is accessible via an ice road that crosses the frozen bay, offering a unique driving experience. Visitors can participate in cultural tours that include traditional Dene storytelling, craft demonstrations, and sampling local foods like bannock and fish.
