Burton Cummings Theatre, originally the Walker Theatre, opened in 1907 as a vaudeville house. This historic venue in downtown Winnipeg has been lovingly restored, featuring ornate plasterwork, a grand balcony, and excellent sightlines. With a capacity of about 1,600, it offers an intimate concert experience. Today it hosts a wide range of events, including rock and pop concerts, comedy shows, and theatrical performances. The theatre is named after the famous Guess Who frontman, a Winnipeg native. Its vintage charm and superb acoustics make it a beloved local landmark.
