The HMS Nancy was a British schooner that served during the War of 1812 and was scuttled by her crew in 1814 to prevent capture by American forces. Today, the ship's remains are preserved at the Nancy Island Historic Site, where a museum building encloses the wreck. Visitors can view the ship's hull and artifacts recovered from the site, including cannons, tools, and personal items. Interactive exhibits and a short film tell the story of the ship's role in the war and its rediscovery in the 1920s.
