Thunderbird Park is a compact outdoor museum adjacent to the Royal BC Museum in downtown Victoria. It features an impressive array of totem poles, house posts, and other carvings created by First Nations artists from the Pacific Northwest. Visitors can walk among the towering poles, each telling stories of clan lineages and spiritual beliefs. The park also includes a carving shed where artists sometimes work on new pieces, offering insight into traditional techniques.
