We searched for a late Sunday lunch korean cuisine near me and found this small restaurant. The topokki with the cheese topping was very good, with the price of $23.95 plus 2.95 , it actually was very expensive. But when it came with four deep fried dumplings, we were not regretted to order it. The beef tofu stew had good portion and served with korean purple rice. I wanted to say ‘ purple rice’ was the main factor we picked this restaurant. The cold noodle was also good, its broth was pleasant, without strong vinegar taste. The side dishes were good, but we didn’t get refill by the two busy servers.

It was Sunday night of a long weekend and we decided to have korean food for our family dinner. The restaurant was conveniently located and street parking was easy to find. The restaurant was not particularly busy. We were seated promptly and given our menus. No one asked if we wanted any beer or soju so I did not order. After figuring out our entrees the food came out pretty quick. The sides were good and we were offered refills. I liked the seaweed salad and kimchi. The yook gae jang came out first and was very tasty. Just the right amount of kick. The topokki was next and was very satisfying. Ramen and rice cakes were super yummy. The LA Kalbi was seasoned well. The tang soo yook came last. The pork was nicely fried and the sweet and sour fruit cocktail sauce was good. Overall I was pleased with the meal. We ended up ordering an additional topokki and beef sundubu to go. We will definitely come back again. My only complaint was that the servers could have been more attentive.

I noticed that I also reviewed 3 years ago! Food still good, portions huge and ended up taking half my meal home. They were very generous with the accompanying pickles (I love kim chee). Main dishes tasty but again a trifle sweet for my taste...guess this is the Korean thing. Prices very reasonable for portion size. Street parking on Fraser, takes cards. Young folks that run the place are very friendly. Got to get back for my bee bim bap!

One of many restaurant options on Fraser Street. We had the stone bibimbab and pork broth noodle soup. Hot and fresh and good tasting. The service was good. There is plenty of free and pay parking in front.
