My husband and I came here last night for the first time, for our wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have loved it more! The natural wine was some of the best we’ve had and all the food was amazing too. Highly recommend the steak and crudo. We will definitely be back!
My friend and I loved this place so much, we visited two days in a row. The crudo and steak are amazing. Sorbet and strawberry tart are delicious. We found our favourite natural wine (De Sol a Sol) here thanks to the very knowledgeable server we had on Saturday evening. We came back to share dessert and wine on Sunday and were also given great service by Natasha. Great staff and amazing food/drink. We'll be back for sure.
Wonderful multi course menu, which they normally they do not offer. Great food, nice combination of flavors, texture, and variety. The service was attentive. We sat in a nice corner booth, so it was quieter. Nice casual environment.
Dining with well travelled friends from out of town, I booked Bar Susu for dinner. I could not have asked for more! Gavin greeted us warmly, and suggested the perfect wine, crisp and fresh. Food was well presented and incredibly tasty. Portion size was perfection. Cheese bites are divine, smoked trout melt in your mouth, mushroom risotto with wild mushrooms delectable, grilled zucchini incredibly flavourful. Thank you for a dining experience to remember! I was a little nervous about the atmosphere being that they have currently taken over Novella, but I was so pleasantly surprised at how warm and inviting the room was. Absolutely will be back !
