✨ HighlightMy girlfriend and I enjoyed a date night dinner here and understood very quickly why Richmond Station is a popular destination downtown. We had an exceptional dining experience sitting by the kitchen bar where we could watch the chefs cook and plate meals for the whole restaurant. The attention to detail and the presentation of each dish combined with the lively atmosphere makes for a memorable fine dining experience. ✨ HighlightIf you're not familiar with the area, it can be a little tricky to find. I went for a birthday dinner with a friend of mine, and we were seated promptly and brought a Welcome Cocktail, which was a lovely touch. The place was very busy but the vibe was very relaxed. The food was absolutely out of this world. Sunday is their Prime Rib Day, and it was absolutely fantastic. The butter cake that comes with the meal was the best dessert bite I've had in a very long time. It's not big, but it's very rich and very flavourful, with Chantilly cream and creme anglaise. Everything was a spot on, and we had a delicious time. I would absolutely consider going here again and recommending it for you and your loved ones. Considering this place is in the financial district, their Sunday Prime Rib special was completely reasonable and worth every single penny. $69.99 for 3 very generous courses? GO!!! Our server was Dawn, and she was super attentive but not intrusive. She was lovely. Clearly, she was busy, but she didn't make anything seem difficult. I will definitely be going here again.→

✨ HighlightHighly anticipated this meal as it earned Michelin 1 star. It was a 2-hour drive to get there and it’s situated in an industrial looking building. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and cozy, servers were professional, however the food was mediocre. The servers explained that there’s a farm on site and a lot of the ingredients were grown on site, indicating how fresh they were. One of the most memorable dishes was one single tiny ball of potato that was grown in their own farm. All I can say is that it is a potato. Other dishes were fresh and tasted okay but nothing close to Michelin standard. For a meal it was alright but for the price, and the fact that it was in the middle of nowhere, meaning you’d have to plan a trip there, is not worth the time or money to me personally.→

✨ HighlightReally tasty food. Nice atmosphere. The large table is a bit tricky to get in and out of but that's the reality of a large group at a smaller place. Friendly staff and good service. I didn't get to try the beer since I was DD but I hope to get the chance to return and try it. The brisket sandwich was delicious. Although my friend's steak was presented a bit messier than it could've been but she loved the taste regardless.→

✨ HighlightI came here for a dinner with friends and Rodney’s Oyster house never disappoints. The service and food was great. We started off with some oysters and I prefer east coast in general and the oysters were fresh and they had an assortment of toppings. We also ordered different mains and I really liked the feature menu main they had. We had some minor issues and felt that the server and manager resolved it well. I really recommend this place for seafood. The live seafood menu is market price and they will bring it to your table prior to cooking. I also like the atmosphere and indoor decor. Also, the price, my understanding for a half-half pizza is it charges base on the side has higher price, but here they added up both sides (toppings). Food overall was good but on salty side. 7 layer dip was interesting and good. not sure jf it's worth $62 tho. Beef tartare was very salty so instead of re-making, we asked for some slices of bread and they charged us for the bread. it's not much but details matter. Lasagna was surprisingly good and eggplant was more Mediterranean style. Skate was a bit dry.→

✨ HighlightNice if you're looking for more of a fine dining experience, but like most steakhouses the value for money just isn't quite there for me. Was worth going to once to experience though, as the steaks are cooked really nicely. My 16 oz bone in rib steak was cooked perfectly, albeit a little light on the seasoning. Would not recommend the mashed potatoes as they are an upcharge and honestly was not very good. Service was phenomenal. The gentlemen that work here were very attentive and friendly. They also were nice enough to provide a delicious slice of cheesecake for our friend after they heard it was his birthday. Atmosphere was pretty neat. Nice low key vibe with classic decor.→

✨ HighlightNestled in a quiet, sophisticated setting, GEORGE Restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience that expertly fuses elegance with a sense of calm. Soft lighting and elegant décor create a sanctuary of relaxation, perfect for unwinding and savoring a remarkable culinary journey. We chose the seven-course tasting menu and each of us had different dishes for all courses. It is a perfectly paced progression that takes your taste buds on a thrilling journey. Each dish is carefully balanced, offering a mix of textures and flavors that reflect the chef’s deep connection to both tradition and innovation. Every dish was truly outstanding, except for the dessert, which fell short of our expectations. It felt more like something from a standard restaurant, lacking the creativity and refinement I would anticipate from a fine dining experience. I had hoped for a more unique and memorable finale to such an exquisite meal. The server is attentive yet unobtrusive, effortlessly guiding you through the experience without rushing or hovering. Each course is presented with care and detailed explanations, enhancing the appreciation of every dish. We were seated at 7:00 PM to begin our dinner, and by the time we finished at 11:00, it felt like we had experienced a perfectly paced, four-hour culinary journey. While it may come with a higher price tag, the exceptional quality of the service, food, and wine fully justifies the cost. Each aspect of the experience, from the meticulously crafted dishes to the attentive service, reflects a level of excellence that makes the premium feel well-earned.→

✨ HighlightMichelin hits once again, and at a pretty cheap price point this time. Came here with the girlfriend and went for the chicken sandwich and smoked beef sandwich, neither disappointed, though I recommend the smoked beef over the chicken. The meat in both was well seasoned and well cooked. The pastrami was extremely tender and flavourful. A must try if ever in the area. Will come again to try their poutine and pickles!→

✨ HighlightI had a delightful evening at Sassafraz! We were seated in a beautiful spot under the skylight. From the appetizers to the main dishes, everything was excellent, especially the salad! The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because it took unusually long to receive my cocktail, likely due to an issue at the bar. The tri colored potatoes were nicely crisped and salted, although the bacon was overdone and way too hard. The salad was nice, tangy, and fresh with a mix of chick peas and greens. The service is amazing though and the decor is stunning with comfortable seats and benches. Would not suggest coming here for snacks or nibbles as expect full sized meals. ✨ HighlightI recently visited Zet's. restaurant for a steak dinner, and the food quality was truly impressive. The steak was delicious, and I was very satisfied with the flavors and overall taste. However, the seating area could use some improvement in terms of cleanliness and organization. There was only one staff member available to clean tables, so quite a few tables were left uncleaned, which affected the overall atmosphere.
