Senator Sid Buckwold Bridge is a key river crossing in Saskatoon, carrying traffic over the South Saskatchewan River with sweeping views of the downtown skyline and river valley. Opened in 1966 and named for a longtime mayor and senator, the bridge connects the central business district to the east side. Pedestrians and cyclists can use the sidewalks to take in the scenery, including the Delta Bessborough hotel and riverbank parks. It's a favorite spot for photography, especially at sunset.

Don't miss

  • Walk the pedestrian sidewalk for panoramic river and city views
  • Photograph the downtown skyline and Delta Bessborough from the bridge
