Bridal Veil Falls is the narrowest of Niagara's three waterfalls, measuring just 56 feet across but dropping 181 feet. It sits on the U.S. side, separated from American Falls by Luna Island. The falls gets its name from its delicate, lace-like appearance when the wind catches the water. Unlike its larger neighbors, it is often overlooked, but it offers a more intimate view. Visitors on the Canadian side can see it from the same vantage points as American Falls, though it is partially hidden behind Luna Island. The Cave of the Winds tour on the U.S. side takes visitors to a wooden platform just feet from the falls.
