Sifton Bog is a unique nature preserve featuring a rare acidic bog ecosystem, complete with a floating boardwalk that lets visitors walk directly over the spongy sphagnum moss. The site is home to carnivorous plants like sundews and pitcher plants, as well as orchids and other bog-specific flora. A short, easy trail leads through the forest to the bog, where interpretive signs explain the fragile ecology. It's a peaceful spot for nature observation and photography, offering a glimpse of a habitat more typical of northern Canada.
