Lake Louise is a world-renowned glacial lake in Banff National Park, famous for its brilliant turquoise color, which comes from rock flour suspended in the meltwater. Visitors can walk along the lakeshore, rent a canoe to paddle on the calm waters, or hike to viewpoints like the Lake Agnes Tea House. In winter, the frozen lake becomes a skating rink. The dramatic backdrop of Mount Victoria and the Victoria Glacier makes it one of the most photographed places in Canada.
