The SS Keewatin is a beautifully restored Edwardian passenger steamship that once sailed the Great Lakes, now permanently docked in Kingston as a museum. Built in 1907, the ship retains its original woodwork, stained glass, and period furnishings, allowing visitors to step back in time. Tours take you through the grand dining salon, staterooms, and the engine room, showcasing the elegance and engineering of early 20th-century maritime travel. The ship's history includes service on the Lake Superior route until 1965. A visit offers a rare opportunity to explore a complete, intact steamship and imagine life aboard during its heyday.
