The William R. Bennett Bridge is a sleek, cable-stayed structure that replaced the aging Okanagan Lake Bridge in 2008. Spanning Okanagan Lake, it carries Highway 97 with five lanes (including a reversible lane) to ease traffic flow. Visitors driving across enjoy panoramic lake and mountain vistas, especially at sunset. Pedestrians and cyclists can use the adjacent multi-use path for a closer look at the engineering and scenery.

Don't miss

  • Drive across for sweeping views of Okanagan Lake and the surrounding mountains
  • Walk or bike the multi-use path for a leisurely crossing with photo opportunities
  • Watch the sunset from the bridge or nearby waterfront parks
