Home to live harness racing since the 1800s, Charlottetown Driving Park is a beloved local institution. The track hosts the prestigious Gold Cup and Saucer race each August, drawing crowds for both the races and the accompanying parade through downtown. On regular race nights, visitors can watch standardbred horses thunder around the oval, place small bets, and soak up the festive atmosphere. The grandstand offers good views, and the park also hosts occasional community events.
