Phnom Krom is a 9th-century hilltop temple built by King Yasovarman I, offering panoramic vistas of Tonle Sap lake and the vast floodplain. The short climb passes through a modern pagoda before reaching the three sandstone towers dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma. Visitors can watch fishing boats and waterbirds from the summit, especially atmospheric at sunset when the lake glows gold.
