O Chum 2 Hydropower Dam is a major infrastructure project in Ratanakiri Province, harnessing the O Chum River for electricity. The dam's massive concrete wall and spillway are impressive feats of engineering. Visitors can walk along the crest for sweeping views of the reservoir, which stretches across a valley dotted with small islands and forested hills. The area is less touristy than Yeak Laom, providing a glimpse into Cambodia's rural development. The reservoir is also used for fishing by locals.
