Sozopol's old town occupies a small peninsula, where narrow cobbled lanes wind past restored 19th-century wooden houses with distinctive overhanging upper floors. Visitors explore the Archaeological Museum, the Church of St. George, and the ruins of the ancient Greek colony of Apollonia Pontica. The two main beaches, Central and Harmani, flank the old town, offering swimming and sunbathing. Art galleries, seafood restaurants, and craft shops line the streets, creating a lively yet relaxed atmosphere.
