The Basilica of the Holy Mother of God Eleusa is an early Christian basilica in Nessebar, now in ruins but still impressive. Dating from the 5th or 6th century, it once served as a major religious center. Visitors can see the remains of the basilica's foundation and, most notably, the mosaic floors that feature geometric and floral patterns. These mosaics are among the finest examples of early Christian art in Bulgaria. The site offers a tangible connection to Nessebar's ancient past.
