Stob is a small village in the Rila Mountains, best known for the Stob Earth Pyramids, unique natural formations of earth and sandstone that have been sculpted by erosion into tall, slender spires. These pyramids, some reaching up to 10 meters, create a surreal landscape that draws photographers and nature lovers. The site is easily accessible from the village and offers a short hiking trail with interpretive signs. Visitors can also explore the traditional Bulgarian architecture of Stob itself.
