Jong Batu is a distinctive rock outcrop in the Brunei River, shaped like a ship and steeped in local folklore. According to legend, it is the petrified remains of a ship that was cursed for not helping a poor family. Visitors can view the formation from boat tours along the river, especially during sunset when the rocks cast dramatic shadows. The site offers a glimpse into Brunei's oral traditions and provides a scenic photo opportunity against the backdrop of the river and mangroves.
