✨ HighlightDefinitely the best cod fish in town even better than the Rancho 53 franchise. The bacalhau à lenha was extremely soft, right salted, they could have add more olives though. The churros also very tasty as well as the shrimp and the codfish dumplings. Service by Danilo was spot on. Bacalhoada a lenha is my favorite.→

✨ HighlightCarlota continues to be a landmark in São Paulo. The food is great, kind of “traditional cuisine with Brazilian touches” that works pretty well. In the picture, the duck confit with açaí and cupuaçu, for instance. The classic guava soufflé is also a must. To be perfect, I just wish there was some innovation every now and then, a more comprehensive wine list, and a bit more flexibility towards the guests needs (like someone from our table that asked for the beef Wellington to be just quickly braised a bit - sure, “wrong”, but it doesn’t hurt to aim at pleasing, rather than at being right.)→

✨ HighlightOne of the three dishes, the lasagna, we ordered was inedible. The service of our waiter was pretty minimal. The atmosphere of the place was like an old cafeteria.→
