The Church of Saint Peter of the Clergymen (Igreja de São Pedro dos Clérigos) is a striking example of Brazilian baroque architecture. Built in the 18th century for the Brotherhood of Clergymen, its facade features intricate stonework, while the interior dazzles with blue-and-white Portuguese azulejo tiles, gilded carvings, and a majestic altar.
