With more than 35,000 reviews already, there can be no doubt that this is not "off the normal tourist path" - do not allow that to dissuade you - YOU SHOULD STILL GO. The wood carved mirrors and fittings are from the 1890's when the place opened. The amazingly patient and friendly waiters have been there even longer. Despite throngs of local romantic couples, and international tourists on vacation making their pilgrimage here the week after Christmas, the staff seemed not frazzled at all. They've seen this all before. The desserts are incredible, the coffee is better, and the spectacle cannot be surpassed. I'm delighted we went. You will be too.
The place is phenomenal in decor but the food was just decent. They had a good English menu. Plenty of options. The cakes were thick and heavy. Burger was delicious.
Lugar lindo, apenas. Doces ruins, macarrão com molho branco sabor pura farinha de trigo, atendimento lento. Preços altíssimos. Sorvete custa o dobro do Baccio de Latte e vem metade. Péssima experiência.
Local com uma bela arquitetura, mas com paredes descascadas nos canteiros e mesas feias. Atendimento ruim, cardápio fraco, comida meia boca e poucas opções. Querem valorizar o prédio com a história, mas oferecem cardápio digital, péssimo. Copo de plástico. Quer conhecer, passe na frente e só.
