The wood carved mirrors and fittings are from the 1890's when the place opened. The amazingly patient and friendly waiters have been there even longer. Despite throngs of local romantic couples, and international tourists on vacation making their pilgrimage here the week after Christmas, the staff seemed not frazzled at all. They've seen this all before. The desserts are incredible, the coffee is better, and the spectacle cannot be surpassed. I'm delighted we went. You will be too.→
