There was a huge queue to get in and I'm not really sure it's worth the wait, but would go with "no". Had the Feijao Tropeiro but it just wasn't good. The beans with mandioca were not tasty, the cabbage was completely tasteless, the fries were old and soft, the aubergine (Jile) was not well prepared and beef was well done despite asking for medium. Just a very average experience, I left most of it.
As mineiro as it gets. All the local food with amazing quality, ice cold beers and super (not so) healthy food. Definitely worth stopping by when visiting the Mercado municipal.
O restaurante Casa Cheia fica abrigado dentro do Mercado Central de Belo Horizonte, localizado na Av. Augusto de Lima 744, no Centro de Belo Horizonte/MG, em um local relativamente pequeno e bem decorado, disponibiliza um ótimo cardápio de pratos típicos da cozinha mineira. Embora a demora para conseguir entrar, o atendimento é ágil, cordial e atencioso, a comida é farta e muito saborosa e a casa disponibiliza uma boa carta de sucos e bebidas, os preços são adequados a qualidade oferecida e a casa aceita cartões.
Olha o lugar é mto concorrido, mas a minha impressão foi a pior possível. A porção de contra filé com gilo que eu pedi, só consegui comer o gilo, a carne não era contra filé. Era muito dura eu não consegui mastigar, devolvi e fiz a observação para o garçom, se vai servir para alguma coisa eu não sei, mas fiz a minha parte. Não aconselho, não indico, é caro e não entregam o prometido. É uma pena.
