Tuzla Air Base, once a strategic Yugoslav People's Army installation, has transformed into a dual-use facility. Today, it serves civilian aviation and hosts occasional air shows and aviation events. Visitors can explore the open areas (with permission) and see remnants of military aircraft. The base's history as a key site during the Bosnian War adds depth, though much of the area is restricted. The adjacent Aviation Museum displays vintage planes and helicopters.
