Počitelj Citadel is the crowning feature of the walled town, perched on a rocky outcrop high above the Neretva River. This medieval fortress, later reinforced by the Ottomans, once guarded the strategic river crossing. Today, visitors can climb the stone steps to the top, where the ruins of defensive walls and towers remain. The reward is a breathtaking 360-degree view of the valley, the river, and the red-roofed village below. It's a perfect spot for photography and quiet contemplation.
