Chimi Lhakhang is a Buddhist temple in the village of Sopsokha, dedicated to the eccentric saint Lama Drukpa Kunley, known as the Divine Madman. Pilgrims, especially couples seeking children, visit to receive a fertility blessing from the resident monk using a wooden phallus symbol. The temple is surrounded by rice fields and decorated with phallus motifs on walls and rooftops. Visitors walk a pleasant path through fields and past traditional houses to reach the hilltop shrine. The temple's joyful atmosphere and unique folklore make it a memorable stop.
