Pasakha lies a short drive from Phuntsholing, offering a quieter contrast to the border bustle. Its main attraction is a traditional paper factory where visitors can see how Bhutanese handmade paper (deh-sho) is produced from the daphne plant. The process involves boiling, beating, and drying the pulp into sheets, and the factory sells notebooks, cards, and art prints. Surrounded by hills and the Wang Chhu River, Pasakha also has a few small temples and a relaxed atmosphere, making it a pleasant half-day excursion from Phuntsholing.
