Kyichu Lhakhang, also known as Kyerchu Monastery, is a revered Buddhist temple dating back to the 7th century. Legend holds it was built by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo to subdue a demoness, making it one of 108 temples constructed across the Himalayas. The temple complex features two main chapels, ancient orange trees said to bear fruit year-round, and a serene courtyard. Pilgrims and visitors alike come to pray, light butter lamps, and soak in the profound spiritual history.

Don't miss
