Branch Mouth is the picturesque confluence of the Mopan and Macal rivers, located just a short walk from downtown San Ignacio. This natural park features grassy picnic areas shaded by large trees, with clear, calm water ideal for swimming. The meeting of the two rivers creates a wide, slow-moving pool where locals and visitors alike cool off on warm afternoons. Benches and tables are scattered along the bank, making it a popular spot for families and groups. The site is also a great vantage point for watching the sun set behind the jungle-clad hills.
